Does XP work with Adobe Photoshop?

Have XP home on my rig....have Adobe Photoshop 6.0 also. Adobe brought up my HP scanner 1100AXi in WIN 98 but WONT bring up my HP scanner in XP Home. Why not and how do I correct this?

I don't know about Photoshop 6 but Photoshop Elements works perfectly.

Photoshop 6 works fine in XP. Check your scanner drivers.

Can any other program bring up your scanner? PS6 works fine for me.
