So its too loud, what would be a best route to shut the damn thing up? Quiet fans?

i was looking around for a new power supply and i found this http://www.directron.com/blackps.html

does anyone have super flower ps? is it good?

is it quiet?

what are some brands that i could get that are really quiet but also come in black colors?

p.s. if someone likes the vantec stealth power supplies, i got a 420 watt one, its sexy but i want a super quiet pc and willing to let this one go for a reasonable price (unless i decide to mod the damn thing and make it quiet).

Saphire 9700pro (400gpu/333mem)
Asus A7N8X ND + XP 2700(192fsb x 12 @ 1.775v)
Corsair PC 3500 512 @ 5-3-3-2T :(

Well i have a superflower case with superflower casefans and they are pretty quiet... so one can reasonably assume that the PSU will be quiet also.

Best though i think are the enermax whisper PSU's. damn quiet. Even my normal non-phisper enermax is very queit.

you know i thought the same thing myself until i bought the vantec stealth powersupply. Vantec stealth fans are considered as some of the best quiet fans you can get, however their powersupply pulls more then 50db during normal operation.....

I also have a superflower case, and the fans are pretty quiet however i want to make sure that the ps is as quiet as i hope before i blow more money on it.

overall i think i may have to mod it. which is no biggie. I am still very curious to hear from anyone that actually owns a superflower power supply as i have the money to buy a new one and it would be less of a pain in the ass.

Just be very careful when messing around inside a PSU. lots of high voltage and stored changed involved.

I just got an Antec Trueblue 480 and it is a very quite psu. It has a fan speed regulator that keeps the speed down. The fan usualy runs at about 1600rpm. It also has two fan only power connections that control speed as well.

Specs:
ASUS A7N8X dlx
Athlon XP 2000+
512mb Corsair PC3500
ATI 9500 pro
and as of right now a dead psu
