Has anyone else tried the new demo yet??

After a couple of games I can safely say they have the wrong name on the
game, it should have been called Rise of Nations 2..

Territorys, New Citys, Universities and Trade from markets are all there..

Game run well but did slow down after a short while but I have only got 512
ram..

Going to give it a miss as it didnt grab me as anything new..

No, Rise of Nations is a different gameplay style compared to EE2.

In EE2, you have the option of going through tech epochs quickly, or by
maxing out your tech levels. It's a decision that you have to make that
can affect the outcome of the game. (The demo didn't really make this
significant, but it's an available option.

Of these items you listed, two appear in the original as well.

There's a much better reason ti give a miss - it doesn't update the
paradigm or basic unit behaviour (at least with what's shown in the demo).

Those who have played Tiberiun Sun and Red Alert 2 most likely know what
I'm talking about - especially when they rely on units moving to the
destination after their target gets killed.

Likely another dumbed down RTS game geared towards the common retard.
