Half height and full height disks?

I want to upgrade my disks to SCSI. Searching for options, I see that some disks are specified as "3.5 in. full height" and others as "3.5 in. half height" and I'm not sure of the difference. Does this mean that I need a 5.25 in. bay for the full height disks and a 3.5 in. bay for the half height ones?
I want to buy four Quantum (by Maxtor) 4.7MS 10,000rpm Ultra 160 68 Pin 8192K Full Height disks ($169 each) and an LSI Logic Mega Raid Express 500 controller ($239). My case has two 3.5 in. bays and two 5.25 in. bays free, but I don't want to buy these 4 disks and later find out that they don't fit in my case.

Basicly the height of a 3.5" floppy drive is a half height bay but 3.5" wide. So a full height drive would take the same space as 2 3.5" floppy drives.

This is the same for 5.25" bays too.

Yeah but nobody's made the older style full height drives for years.

I have to wonder if they don't mean half height (i.e. what we now consider normal) and 1/4 height like are used in laptops.

Look at the drive dimensions on their website in the tech specs section and compare them to an modern day IDE hard drive.
