Hi,

Up for sale is a boxed Stars! game - complete with the manual, disc,
and technical reference guide. The game received rave reviews when it
was released.

It's available at the link below. Good luck.

Good email game, though finding opponents these days may not be easy.
Not at all interesting vs. the computer players. Very basic 2D
graphics. Some describe it as a "spreadsheet" game. I have found it
both interesting and frustrating, and sometimes simultaneously.

I still have it on my XP machine, and play it sometimes.

They do have their own newsgroup which makes finding a game easier

Also look for Autohost. There's a server somewhere dedicated to hosting
Stars! games, and it has discussion boards which help a lot in finding
games.

Lots of good strategy articles availlable somewhere too. A year ago the
community was still alive, and I suspect it still is, but haven't
checked in months.

Not playing any online games at all, I'm afraid. Just got a new job,
which I'm putting way too much time in, and I just discovered Europa
Universalis. (Great game!) And I'm trying to read more and spend a
bit less time behind the computer. So online games are too much of
a commitment for me right now. Unfortunately. Those online Stars!
games were really good. All of them.
