Comparing Western Digital to Maxor, who makes the overall better hard drives?

there is no need to compare these two. they are both very good at what they do. most people might say wd becuase some time back maxtor wasn't doing such a good job... i think about two years ago or something. but 2 years is a very long time when talking about computers and they are both really good right now.

Performance wise i think they are pretty much equal... Quality wise W.D. appears to be better as it still offers a 3 year warantee on its JB series of IDE drives.
