HI,
I am trying to install the The Sims 2, and when I put the
CD in, it says I need Directx 9.0c, and it says I can
install it off the CD, So I clicked the yes button to
install it and I get an error that says,
"The software you are installing has not passed Windows
Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP.
This software will not be installed. Contact your system
administrator."
Am I not the System Admin? there is only 1 account on my
computer. I am running Windows XP home edition, My
computer is an HP Pavillion 7966
Any help would be great! I would hate to think i bought
this game and I can't use it
3. Repairing Windows is our final option. Boot from your Windows
CD (you may have to press F12 while starting up, or change the
bootup order in your BIOS) and then follow the instructions at:
http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm Good luck! :-)
