Hello,

Two days ago I purchased a Sprint PCS phone and service from RadioShack. I
tried it out and realized that I was roaming when I went 8 miles south of my
house (where I work part of the year); this wasn't going to work for me. I
took my phone back to RadioShack. The RadioShack sales person called Sprint
and told them what I wanted to do, gave me the phone and the Sprint customer
service representative told me that my account was canceled. RadioShack
took my phone and gave me a refund for the $20 I paid for the phone. Does
anyone have any experience with the Sprint PCS 14 day guarantee in general
or with the 14 day guarantee and RadioShack? What should I expect? Am I
going to get a bill for any charges (I really didn't use the phone at all)?
Any advice anyone has would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Scott

You're liable for charges actually incurred during the trial, and the $36
activation fee will not be refunded.

if you buy the phone from nov 15th 2004 to jan 15th 2005 you have until
jan 31st to return the phone. this is just for the holidays.

be careful though, b/c the service still only has the 14-day return
policy. and as steve mentioned you would be charged service and
activation fees within 14 days, and also the early termination fee
after 14 days.

14 day trial ---- you are only responsible for the usage within the 14
days -- no cancel fee or activation fee--

Absolutely wrong, unless it's changed. Your activation fee is NOT refudned. You
will not be charged the $150 early cancellation fee if you cancel within 14 days.
