I'm fixing to pull my Audigy 2 out of my current system and install it in my new system. I went to Creative's Website to get the drivers ahead of time and when I go to get the Windows XP Drivers for this card..there are two sets of them...as follows..

Audigy 2 Driver Pack (English)
Date: 12/20/2002
Size: 7.89 MBytes

and then....

Audigy 2 DriverPack (WDM Drivers)
Date: 2/11/2003 5:34:00 PM
Size: 5.72 MBytes

I don't remember two sets of drivers when I installed this thing...of course I could of used the CD it came with...I don't think I did...but that was a while ago..so I don't recall..

Anyone have any idea as to the difference between these two sets of drivers?

Do I need them both?

Or one or the other?

I would use the newer driver and it is also WDM certified.
