I have a table top computerwith wireless router in the house. wanted to be able to connecet the internet in our party building and ran 150 of cable to our party building (underground through PVC pipe). The cable works when plugged into the laptop out in the party building. When I plug the cabe into the extra router in the party building the laptop says tht the signal strength is excellent, but when I try to connect to that device, it will not connect. Any ideas? The router in the party building is a centurylink router.

When you say it won't connect, be more specific. It won't connect to the wireless AP, or it does connect to the wireless AP but you can't connect to the internet? Because if it won't connect to the wireless AP, the fact you have that same router connected over 150 ft of cable seems irrelevant. Also, is that 150 ft. cable connected to the router's WAN or LAN port?
