Viewsonic has a new 19" out -- vx910 -- 16ms & DVI/Analog

I saw it at compUSA and it looks pretty good, but it was connected to the crappy feed.

That video feed they display on the screens at Comp USA is so horrible-looking (and so low-resolution) that you couldn't possibly use it to gauge quality of monitors.

One of their sales people explained to me that the loop they're displaying is all paid advertising, they're contractually obligated by vendors to leave it running. Whatever financial benefits that arrangement might have must be offset to some degree by fewer monitor sales.

Looks like only compusa has this in stock. I was hoping best buy, fry's, circuit city would have it since they have no restocking fee.

Since this is the first dvi 16ms 19" panel I am very skeptical. Benq should come out with their 12ms 19" panel soon... I think it's the fp937s

Actually there is a whole bunch of 19" 16ms LCD screens out there now. Read the latest THG article for some (there are even more).

I read the tomshardware article and it only listed 25ms 19". I know of only philips, viewsonic, sharp out in the US with 19" 16ms & lower. And of those only viewsonic has dvi.

In other countries there is benq & nec that have 19" 12ms w/dvi.
