I have started to build my PC. The computer will not start. My motherboard is an ASUS A7N8X. The power is an Enermax 350Watt. When I press the power button on the case, nothing turns on. I have the power switch on the PSU turned on. I think the case headers are in order. The fans aren't turning on or anything and there are no beeps. Any ideas? I'm living in Taiwan right now...the voltage on the PSU is set as 115V, not 230V. Is this correct?
Hi everyone...well, it's another day and I checked what I did the night before. The PowerSW was plugged in incorrectly. It's all fixed now (now I have to setup the BIOS, and my motherboard manual is in Chinese.) On to the next problem...
heh. things like what voltage you are using is nothing to joke about. have the incorrect votage selected and POOF! Kiss byebye to your powersupply at the very least.
As for the BIOS setup, leave everything at defaults for the time being till you are sure all other components are working correctly.
best to have only one problem at a time.
