This isn't a simple question...

It depends on a lot of things... phase relationships, frequency, room accoustics and on and on and on...

In general... the more noisey things you have the more annoyance you will suffer but it's not easily reduced to a number.

like what Teq said, it depends on lots of different factors.

If you take 3 fans sitting on a desk in front of you all in a row with no other factors involved (most simple case scenario) then you get the antilog of each individial casefan noise, add them up and log the result to get the combined noise level.

SO:
30dBa = 3 Bells
10^3 = 1000
1000 x 3 = 3000
Log10(3000) = 3.477 bells
= 34.7 dBa.

Assumming of course there are NO other factors involved.
