Pop up box with "ok" in it at every web page. Virus?

Hello,
every time I go online or change a page on the web a pop up that looks like a small windows box pops up. It says OK in it and has an "ok" button. I just X it out instead of pressing ok. It also causes the internet to shut off while I'm browsing. Is there any way to get rid of this? I ran my anti virus/malware scan and cleaned out the browsing history and cookies. It's still there.

Check in the browser for add ons and disable anything that you are not sure of.
