okay... i have been reading about people have ram and downclocking it and then being able to lower timings... here is my question:

System: gigabyte SINXP
P4 3.06HT
2x 512mb Samsung PC2700 ram in dual channel
FSB @ 145mhz

i have my ram running at sumthing like 350 or so mhz. If i lower the speed of teh ram and then i raise my timings (of which i havent changed so i think they are like cas2.5)

so....

if i lower the speed of teh ram would i even b able to lower teh timings and if so would that even be worth the trouble?

thnkx alot

you can use all the FSB you can get on that board... A higher FSB is better than lower timings from 2.5 to 2. If anything try to increase your FSB more ;)

To err is human... to really screw things up you need a computer!
