Hi,
I recently bought an A7N8X and a 2gig AMD XP processor. All I need now is some memory. I have been reading the posts on the forums, but I'm just more confused on what memory i should buy for this board. I am a gamer, but that is the extent to my memory usage. Im looking to spend around $100 or less on some memory. What is the best, or most reliable/compatible memory that I should use with this setup? I understand its best to get two sticks to get the performace boost of the dual ddr on the board. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
BTY this is my first post.

Thanks.

Corsair and Crucial both sell good memory. You might want to avoid buying something like Kingston. It gets a bad rap from a good percentage of folks. (of course, I know this point will be disputed) I think I got 2 sticks of 256MB PC2700 DDR from Crucial for just under $100. Crucial also has a memory selector you can use to see just which memory will work on the motherboard you select.

Corsair, Crucial, Kingston, TwinMOS are some brand you should be looking at. I heard Kingston HyperX is on sale now but I'm not sure.

You never know how stupid you are until you have done something stupid enough for you to realize it.

I'm running Kingston Hyper X & it's some awesome RAM. I was running Samsung cs 2.5 @ cs 2.0 timings & it couldn't hold a candle to the Kingston Hyper X. I just switched last week & I'm still amazed at how much difference RAM makes.

If it ain't broke, take it apart & see why not!
