I have an HP Pavillion 8700 with an ASUS K7M motherboard that I bought second hand. The case has only one midget fan and no airflow and has recently started to overheat. Does anyone here have experience with these MBs? I need to know if I'll have problems swapping the case for something with more airflow. If so, what brands/models will work?

Also, what models of power supplies will work with this MB? It's only got a 185W in there now, and I'd like to upgrade to at least a 300W.

Thanks in advance.

A standard case/power supply will work. Most HP boards were Micro ATX, but they also fit full ATX cases (with room to spare). I suggest getting an ATX mid-tower and a decent quality power supply.
