I play cards on yahoo and just recently, when I try to
play, the window that the game is in won't show anything.
Just a white box with the little box in the corner. Can
this be fixed somewhere in the internet options or am I
missing a program? My boyfriend just uninstalled a bunch
of stuff from the computer but he's pretty computer savy
and says it shouldn't make a difference. I know it's not
the website because everything else is fine, except for
the active game window.

The boyfriend probably uninstalled or disabled Java support. The procedure
if Java has been merely diabled depends on which browser you are using
(Internet Explorer, Firebird, Netscape etc). If Java support has been
uninstalled, it will have to be reinstalled and possibly downloaded again.
Note that despite similar names, JavaScript and Java are NOT the same thing.
Java doesn't provide hackers with anywhere near as many oportunities for
mischief as ActiveX controls.

If you are using a Windows XP computer, the installation and configuration
of Java support may require logging into the operating system as an
administrator.
