Ok right now I'm looking to upgrade my ram thats in my computer at the moment and wondering which ram I should get.

Im thinking about-

CORSAIR MEMORY XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series 512MB 32MX8 PC-3500C2 With Platinum - Silver Heat Spreader.
Specifications:
Speed 434MHz
Organization 64M x 64
CAS Latency 2-3-3-7-T1
for $155.00

or

CORSAIR MEMORY XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, Low Latency 512MB 64MX64 PC-3200LLPT With Platinum - Silver Heat Spreader.
Specifications:
Speed 400 MHz
Organization 64M x 64
CAS Latency 2-2-2-6-T1
for $149.00

or

CORSAIR MEMORY XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, Low Latency 512MB 64MX64 PC-2700LLPT. With Platinum - Silver Heat Spreaders.
Specifications:
Speed 333 MHz
Organization 64M x 64
CAS Latency 2-2-2-5-T1
for $139.00

I am getting two sticks of each and here is the computer I right now have

Volcano 7+ heatsink and Fan
2400+ AMD XP (OCed to 2800+, I upped the FBS to 166 and put the multi at 13.5)
A7N8X Deluxe (updated bios)
two PC 2700 OC company 256 sticks of Ram
R9700 Pro (slightly overclocked)

Also I would like to know if I would get any proformence boost form getting the new ram and how much would that proformence boost be. If I get the ram I will be bumping up my FSB up to match the ram but I would like to keep under 2.3 ghz because I computer doesn't seem to like to get fast *shrugs*

Well what do YOU want to do with the ram?

If you are just going to stay at 166Mhz bus+mem speed then anything faster than low latency PC2700 is pretty much a waste.
But if you want to go as high as you can then get the best memory available/you can afford.

I want what ever will give me the best proformance I would like to get my FSB up to as high as it can get. But I really just want some more proformance and because the onces with higher MHZ have higher latency I don't know if it would be worth it to even get the PC 3500 would it proform better then the PC 2700 with lower latency

basicly to restate my question better-

If I match my FSB to my Mem which of the three above will give me a better proformance boost?

And I would like to know if you could estimate how much of a proformance boost would I get, because I don't even know if buying this RAM will even make my system better, and if it only boosts my system proformance like 2% then Im not going to throw away my money (which if I do get this ram it would cost me around $300 and there are other things I can buy with that money to get some better proformance like watercooling or something hell I could just save the money... yeah right)

Right now my system is setting just damn fine, I get like 15,500 on 3dmark 2001 SE but I have the money right now to boost my system even more and I would like to because I already plan on getting a new harddrive, 6.1 speakers, and a new DVD drive, and CD burner so I thought getting some more better ram would be a good idea as well, plus my friend just bought a new computer and could use my RAM thats in my system right now to give him a boost (didn't have enough money to get 512 ram so he just got one stick of 256 using the Nforce2 board and giving him another stick of ram would give him a good boost)

Thanks in advanced

Well then you should get the best and fastest memory you can afford... high Mhz stuff with Low latencies.

Increasing the FSB and Memory speed is all very well, but if you have to use extreemly lax memory timings it kinda defeats the purpose to an extent.

So for best results, synchronous memory/fsb speed, and highest bus speed you can manage with hard memory timings.

its very simple, www.mushkin.com
you can talk to a person on the phone, email, or use there forums, and they read them .
also there memory pages and specs and pretty self explanitory, they use to use infineon? chips i think, hand picked etc.... very good quality , does what it says it will do, and there service is bar none the best.
im looking at some pc3200 cas 222 @ 4oomhz ddr hp from them right now.
i always use mushkin and have nothing but good things to say about them and there memory.

The low latency will run extremely faster in your system.

eBay, kick ass!

Ok so out of the above named RAM which is the best if you match your FSB to your RAM?

Simple Easy I just want to know which out of the three are the best?

If anyone can be really happy

Thanks in advanced

The PC3200 Low Latency is the best, since it is basically the same module but clocked down so it can run at the most aggressive timings, and is guaranteed to run at those timings. It will give you ample room to overclock, also, besides looking kick-ass if you have a window case.
