Presently have MSI-KT3 Ultra,XP1700+,2x128 pc2100 Kingston Ram which I can give up. I wish to upgrade my RAM to 512MB now, and possibly upgrade MOBO to nforce2 later. What RAM should I buy now, (I don't overclock) so that I can also use it later on? I don't have to have the fastest PC around just the most stable. Other components: MSI MX4-440,Seagate 40GB HD, CDRW. The more I read about memory types and brands, the more confusing it gets. Any help is appreciated.

if you are not overclocking.. consider Crucial ram.. stable and less expensive than the corsair equivalents... Samsung is also something good to aim for...

Ah as for timings.. both crucial and samsung should be able to run agressive timings at their rated speeds...
