Does anyone know what the correct syntax would be to send a message to a
SPCS phone via E-mail? I searched their web site today and it is either not
there or it is well hidden.

Another suggestion is to set FORMAT to TEXT or PLAIN TEXT before sending!

Go to the website and go to "personal information". From there you set
a login address and password for the web functions of your phone. BTW:
if you can use the web functions then this has already been done -- check
the page anyway to see what your userid was.
The email address to send a message to your phone is userid@sprintpcs.com .

Bert Hyman was right. If you want to use email to send an SMS to a
phone, you send the email to <phone_number>@messaging.sprintpcs.com.
The recipient will receive it as a text message.
