Hey everyone
I am planning on setting up a level 0 (stripping) RAID for my computer. But I also would like to have a particion for red hat (a linux kernal, if you didnt know already). Is it possible for me to have... say... an 80gb hard drive (which i already have) and a 100gb harddrive, with the windows drive being striped between the 100 and 80gb hard drives, with 160gb of space, leaving 20 gb for linux?? that probably didnt make much sense. let me try again

(100gb hard drive -20gb linux particion)+80gb hard drive = 20gb linux standard particion and 160gb level 0 windows RAID array

Is this possible, and if so, how?

It isn't possible. If you build a RAID 0 array using an 80GB and a 100 GB, the larger drive would lose 20GB that you wouldn't be able to get back. With RAID, they all have to be the same size (except with JBOD). You can partition that 160GB, but that other 20GB is gone! Read the RAID FAQ for more info.
