Acer desktop freeses up

Hello,
I purchased an Acer refurbished desktop from tiger direct....it keeps freezing up, I need to control,alt,delete to get off the page. Nothing moves until I do..

Acer is known for substandard quality.

I would normally recommend running memtest and other things but if you are still under Warranty return it. If your warranty permits get a non-Acer system as a replacement or use the money to build your own system which isn't as hard as you might think.
