This may seem like a dumb question to people who know the answers. But does using a monitor on maximum brightness or refresh rate affect its life span at all?? If not, does anyone know what DOES affect a monitor's life span?

Both high contrast and high refresh rates shorten the life (of CRTs), by how much I have no idea.
