In case anyone here wants to helpfully criticize details before release
instead of after. :)

This is what has been added so far in about six weeks of part time work by
myself and a loose group of interested users. Items are currently limited
to the period 1939 through 1942. There are a lot more items on the "to do"
list for this period before the first patch release so comments on missing
items (mortars, AT rifles and guns, French tanks, etc) are not being
solicited at this time. Reminder ... beer & pretzels ... minimum set of
unit types for 1939 through 1942.

Best regards, Major H.

If doing up to 1942 you probably want more German types especially:

Panzer III g/h/j, PzIII G as a minimum
Panzer IV D through to F2, Pz IV D as a minimum
Stug III both short & long barrelled, Stug III D as a minimum
Some sort of self propelled AT: Panzerjager 1, Marder II etc.

You might want to consider upping the ROF for german squad machineguns (belt
fed MG34s) as well as including squads armed with two lmgs (some
Schutzen/panzergrenadier squads).

Might be worth putting in the A designations for the British cruisers (A9,
A10, A13 etc) and you are missing the Crusader. Perhaps reduce the ROF for
British lmgs (mag fed Bren guns)

Russians could do with light tanks, T26B and BT-7, possibly T-60 as well as
some heavies: T28, KV-1, KV-2. The multi-turreted T35 is probably outside
the capabilities of the game engine and it wasn't much use in any case!

Italian infantry platoons had two squads armed with rifles and an lmg plus
two squads armed only with rifles, so it may be a good idea to have two
squad types.

Cheers
