My partner just moved to Prescott AZ and he now gets lots of dropped calls
or no service at all. He is using a Nokia 3588I phone. He does NOT need
anything but voice. Since he uses this phone for business he is willing to
buy any phone that has great reception... so is there any one particular
phone that is more sensitive and less prone to dropped calls?

If he's having trouble with the Nokia 3588i, there aren't very many phones
with as good or better reception. I've had one for 1 1/4 years and go all
over the US and have had very few dropped calls. He may be in an area w/o
good coverage. If you look at the coverage map, Prescott is right on the
edge of coverage-there will be coverage problems.

I do not know if the Nokia 6016i is any better. It may be since it is a
newer model. I have not used the earlier Nokia but I recently replaced a
Qualcomm 2076 with the Nokia 6016i and it is much better.

The question isn't one of what exists, the question is what criteria a
person would use to make the statement *about* what exists.

Alot of mountain areas around there & Prescott City.
He should get with other wireless users or visit a wireless store there and
ask about coverage.
