Hey I was trying to extend my Partition on the C drive I shrunk my D: drive and transfared/backed up the data to the new partition and deleted to old one, now it will not let me add the unallocated space to the C: drive...

Thanks

? it is displaying the available unallocated space? 194,401 MB. and the final size 194,401 + the 20.41GB existing partition = 215,300.

Am I missing something? I honestly have always used easeus so maybe I'm not thinking straight. just seems right to me. Sorry if I'm being dense lol

Hi mikes1992

It is possible your second partition (D:) was or is not a primary partition (it says Logical in the picture) and you reduced the size of a logical partition inside an extended partition but did not reduce the size (start point) of the extended partition.

You may have to remove the second logical partition then the extended partition, then expand the first partition (C:) then re-create the second partition (D:)

I would use Parted Magic (or GParted) Linux boot disk to sort out the problem.

best of luck
