My canon mp560 series printer wont stay wirelessly connect

Hello,

I have an acer laptop and although I have wirelessly connected to my canon mp560 printer, it loses the connection and I cannot reestablish it so my lap top tells me the printer is offline. Is there something else I need to do or load on for this to work every time?

Do you have the printer configured with a static or reserved dynamic address, printers usually don't work well with a dynamic address. How to do that depends on your particular router, as you must either enter the static address in the printer and in the router using the printer MAC address, or use dynamic address reservation in the router and set the printer to automatically obtain an address, which will always be that same address used in the router. Then delete and re-install the printer on the laptop so that it will use the correct address.
