RON MSXML 4.0 error.

My origianl RoN WONT INSTALL. I get a MSXML error. In
the details section, it reads-

Nations caused an exception 03H in module NATIONS.EXE at
016f:402c47e8.

I've read the FAQs, and the support sites. I could only
find "update your video driver" and "reinstall the
Microsoft XML in your RoN folder". I did both with no
difference.
I also read an old nVidia driver might not work, to use
the 43.45 verison. That also made difference.

I also downloaded the Revision 3 Update, to no effect.

And I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, no difference.

Unfortunately, since the game wont start (it only gets to
the main menu) I can't select the options or about tabs to
find the Product ID Key info.

PLEASE tell me what else I can do to get this game to work.
