Can't connect to Router Setup

Hello guys,

for the past couple of hours i've been trying to setup my router (Linksys WRT160N).
When i set up all the cables, like it is in this picture:

there is no internet connection to the network.

I figured that it had to be some wrong settings in the routers menu, cause i was using this router on my PC earlier,
it worked fine. But now i can't enter the router setup on it's default adress (192.168.1.1) and i really don't know why.

Can you guys help me out and maybe tell what the problem here is?

Edit: Forgot to mention what i've tried so far:

-Unplugging the router from power for 30secs
-do a reset, holding the reset button for 30secs
-do a 30-30-30 reset
-finding the router IP adress via cmd
-installing software from the linksys CD (stuck in menu while trying to connect to the router)
