I am looking for the printed version of the Pro Tools Free Reference
Guide. The Digidesign website indicates that it is no longer stocked.

Printing the pdf is out of the question?

I send big stuff to the local Kinko's. Upload to their web site, go
over to the shop a couple of hours later and pick it up. No muss, no
fuss, no running out of ink in the middle, no punching holes a few
pages at a time to put it in a loose-leaf notebook. You can get it
bound, too, if you want it. Cost is usually on par with buying a
printed manual.

Just to clarify information that I had posted
in a recent thread about PT Free:
The large .pdf manual (PT Reference Guide.pdf)
that is included with Free is actually the manual
for the full version 5.0.1 and makes no mention
of the free version. Information specific to
'Free' is contained in the smaller files "Pro
Tools FREE Quick Start Guide.pdf" and the
"readme.doc" There is no actual complete
Pro Tools Free reference guide. Therefore some
of the capabilities covered in the large .pdf
may not exist or have limited function in Free.
Hope this helps.

Having said that, I found a copy of the printed
manual on ebay for v5.1 that is very similar to
that of 5.0.1.

That's an even better idea.

Update:

The printed version is now restocked and available from DigiStore. For
$25 you can get a spiral bound copy in color with a heavy card stock
cover. Thanks for all the responses.
