I've tried all the volume settings I can find, but even at the loudest settings I can hardly hear DVD's during playback. It doesn't matter if I'm on my PC desktop or my Mac laptop (800 mhz G4). Am I missing a setting somewhere?

What sort of speakers do you have, are they normally bone jarringly loud or just soft, DVD's volume is set to lower than a normal MP3 for example.
