hi, i want to buy a newboard for my p4 2.4ghz 533mhz,and which of these two boards are good for overclocking ??
1-Asus P4PE or Asus P4Pe BP
2-Intel D845 GEBV2

And if i buy one of these m/b i need new rams, since they can run ddr333....so i will get a TWINMOS 512ddr 333...my questions is will this ram allow me overclock to 2.8ghz without any problem ?

It's a little late to be asking about old 845 chipset boards when the 879P Canterwood chipset boards are already available, clock much higher, support future processors, and perform much better.

It depends what your needs are... providing you don't need a top of the line board and aren't planning to succesively upgrage your system.... either of those boards should be fine...

To err is human... to really screw things up you need a computer!

In the U.S. the ones with all the features cost about that, but the ones with fewer features cost around $150.
