Confusing cache size

[Spitfire_x86]

AFAIK, my first HDD (Maxtor D740X) has 2 MB cache. But PC Wizard XP reports that it has 1819 KB cache instead of 2048 KB. And I don't know the ammount of cache of my second HDD (Quantum Fireball lct08)

2 MB is the whole memory, but it also considers the memory used for firmware which, in your case, seems to be equal to 229 kB.

...Ahhhh? , ok, ok ...I am turning off the computer.
