Command prompt is not behaving properlly

Command Prompt is not working properly,
it is not even executing "help" command,
or any of the cammand

Do you get an error or no response at all? If you get an error the Path may at issue. You may want to check to see if the following entries are in your Path variable:

c:\windows
c:\windows\system32

They should show up in the Path variable as follows, and should be near the beginning of the string:

Path=C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;
