I have to buy the phones for the company. The Sanyo pm 8200 has served us
well. Now I want the Sanyio mm7400 but the sales people want the lg sliding
bluetooth phone.. Are these phones equal?

TIA

Of course not. If they were equal, Sprint wouldn't be selling them both. :)

The MM7400 is more expensive, and offers a speakerphone, ReadyLink and
can take video clips in addition to still photos. The LG has none of
these features (except for still photos which it can do), but offers
bluetooth.

Normally, I would agree with you, but my daughter uses the LG 325 and it's a
great phone. I'd say either model works well.

Yes, it does. Where she lives, it's in a fringe coverage area. Her prior
phone, Samsung A500 would bounce between CDMA and analog all the time. Even
my Sanyo 5300 would bounce back and forth. Not as much as the Samsung, but a
few times. Her LG 325 holds onto the CDMA coverage with no bouncing.

Very cool phone, what with the Bluetooth wireless headset, and sliding
feature. It's also got RL. Only thing I would have wanted on it would have
been a speaker phone, but with the headset, one doesn't need it.

Well, my handy dandy receipt says it was a Body Glove Blue Voice Blue Tooth
Headset, which cost $99.
