All,

I remember The Ardennes Offensive (TAO2) being released as a free
download by SSG.

Despite owning KP, BIN and BII (and thus owing TAO3 and TOA4), I'd like
to find the freeware TAO2 to try and get someone into the hobby.

Anyone know a download site?

Thx,

von Schmidt

You're a good man, Eddy. For a Belgian (Flem?), that is. ;-)

I actually found that website but managed to miss the download (though
they were charging $28!).

Many thanks!

Flemish - to quote a pre-WWI politician in an open letter to the king:
"Sire, there are no Belgians" - just as there never were
Czecho-Slovaks, just Czechs, Slovaks, Ruthenians, Hungarians and other
minorities.

Hi Von Schmidt,

would you be interested in TAO 2.4 that runs under XP ? I have the source
code from Roger at SSG thought I would have to ask him first for permission
to release the new executable....already works fine for me on my machine.

Yes I believe after a while, example when you scroll a map or click on a unit
and move it on my laptop and desktop as well sooner or later TAO will lock up.

Ok - if that's the case and if you already have an XP-friendly version
it would be a nice move of SSG if they gave you permission to release
it publicly.
