Still waiting for Matrix to release his WW1 game?

Well while you wait and grow your gray beard please check it out excellent
Daniel McBride's The Great War 2.0 scenario for TOAW which will be available
on the Rugged Defense web site later today. Be patient, it will be later in
the day :)
I have made many suggestions to Daniel and many of those are in fact in
scenario (players from the Balkans will notice Petrovaradin fortress for
example :), and there are really many improvements from version 1.5 (the
last one).
Daniel have made a truly magnificent scenario, masterpiece, historically
well researched and worth full price of the game that you are paying now :)
But, really!

It is historical-study and simulation of WW1 but done incredibly intelligent
way and with consultation from many players at Warfare HQ boards as well and
numerous books, so it is really well researched thing. Please also read the
docs and send the designer feedback at email provided there and also for
further playtest you can send saves every 10 turns (everything is explained
in the doc file).

Enjoy.

fortress in toaw are next to useless, you can always make a unit retreat in
that game no matter how dug in or fortified they are.
