I have a friend that just renewed her contract. Sounds to me that her deal
is worse than the one she replaced. She has 14 days to cancel the new phone
that they gave her at a discount. Is Sprint still doing any "retention"
deals? They even gave her a phone with a new number and she has to have it
changed to her old number. They whole deal is screwy. Any advice.

No advice till we get more details, like where her original account was set
up and where she's living now. Did she change her address from one MTA to
another? IOW, did she move from one SPCS coverage area to another in another
zip code?
