No internet access after connecting to sbg6580 gateway

acer aspire 7741Z-4633 with windows 7 connects wireless to sbg6580 gateway that was just installed, but no internet access. able to connect other devices. any advice for this laptop.

anyone out there have any advice to connect the laptop to the internet via the gateway?
