Mac address not valid - iPhone

I just got a replacement iPhone today and i try to add the wifi address on my network for the mac address filtering but I keep getting an invalid mac address message. I've tried several times, no luck.
I have never had issues adding a mac address. I've added multiple tablets (ipad and android), multiple iphones, laptops, macbooks, Nintendo Wii and Xbox.
This is the first time I am having trouble.

Win 7 Pro machine
Router - Linksys E1500

Any ideas?

Scratch that...got it to work.

btw - I couldn't log in to Toms Hardware website with both Firefox and SRWare Iron browsers. When I clicked on sign in after entering both my id/pw nothing happened.
I had to use IE.
