Download Software Update

Over a period of time now, I've had a problem with downloading a piece of softyware - the detail actions I have used are:

This is what exactly happens right from the start:
On the FreeBMD page, I click on the underlined
Download WinBMD version 7
This brings up a window:
"Opening WinBMD7_setup.exe"
I click on 'save'
This brings up a window:
"Downloads"
I double click WinBMD7_setup.exe
This brings up a window:
"Open File - Security Warning"
Publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?
C:\Downloads\WinBMD7_setup.exe
I click 'run'
This brings up a window:
"Install Shield Wizard"
Extracting WinBMD7.msi
When 'green bar' finishes
I am returned to the "Downloads" window.

It is as though I was in an everlasting 'loop' - nothing further appears to be happening!

Please help me, somebody.

Have you checked your hard drive for the extracted files, as that was obviously a zip archive, which doesn't automatically install. The files may be in a created directory off the Root.

I eventually disabled 'ZoneAlarm' Firewall, and all was OK. Naturally, I enabled Firewall later.

Have you checked your hard drive for the extracted files, as that was obviously a zip archive, which doesn't automatically install. The files may be in a created directory off the Root.
