At least some Sprint phones have a GPS or "Location" feature in them. A
feature that can be set on or off.

Does onyone know if this feature works, or if any location indication can be
seen - by anyone and who?

you'll be able to subscribe to that use GPS.

The only ones I know of for sure are RoadsideRescue and
DirectroyAssistance.  The first is for guiding assistance to you and the
second is for guiding you to your destination.

Actually, no.

Sprint has announced that Directory Assistance and Roadside Assistance
services on Sprint can now use the location-based services, on an opt-in
basis.
