Hey everyone

I'm looking for a new monitor, as I am heading off to college this year. It has to be a 17" flat panel because of space requirements, and I can only spend $350-400. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what I might look into buying.

I like to play games, but I'm flexible, it's okay if the monitor isn't the greatest for gaming (though it would be nice).

There's a lot of different monitors out there, and I have no idea which one would be good. So yeah, I'd appreciate any help you can give.
