Hello.
I have a very strage thing going on on the Shure KSM44.
Front of this mic is ... on its back. Like you can read on the manual
"The front of the KSM is marked by the Shure logo and the polar pattern
selection switch".
Apperently when in cardioid the back of this mic is picking everything like
the front should.
The mic is in perfect condition, looks like new and sounds ok. All polar
patterns works fine.

I'd suggest that you call Shure and tell them what you've found. They
might be able to clarify what's the front and what's the back, or they
might want you to send them the mic so they can put the capsule in
correctly.

Especially since one side has a "new" Shure logo and the other has an
"old" Shure logo. Fortunately, there's only one pattern switch, on the
new-logo side.
