Help choose between two Corsair brands

Can someone explain the difference between these two Corsair Model numbers. Is one better than the other. They are only .50 cents difference in price.
Is one a better performer. I saw these at Newegg.com

Only difference I can see is that one has platinum heatspreader.

And just for those who aren't sure, the heat spreaders are only Platinum <i>colored</i> alumninum. There's no performance difference, just a percieved cool factor.
