I primarily use two desktops for my work in my house. They both access the same Internet via ethernet cords, and they are always on. I often switch between the two desktops, which means I have I re-open all my programs.

I want both desktops to share everything they do(something I open on one computer opens remotely on the other).

How can this be done? I am open to any software(ie:both desktops also have Linux) or hardware suggestions that could make this possible.

the only way your going to do that is only running the programs on one and using remote desktop to connect to it. still sound extremely... odd...

I would suggest getting a second monitor and using synergy to share one keyboard and mouse between the PCs.

No, the computers are in different parts of the house, so they cannot share monitors.
