I'm look at a small digital recorder, considering either the Tascam
PocketStudio 5 or the Fostex MR-8 - looking for opinions ( I'm torn
between the 2 ). I like all the built in cords, drums , effects, etc.
on the Pocket but I don't like going through all thew LCD display stuff

( these things can tie you in knots sometimes - I don't want to spend
the afternoon looking through Manuals - I want to play Guitar ) .. I
prefer knobs... Seems like the MR8 is better for just recording but the

Pocket seems better to help give ideas (experiment with different sound

etc.). I want it to assis in my playing/learning by allowing me to
ovedub solos and trying different thing.. Thanks fast_eddie
