How does a demo know how long you have used their program? Is it in the windows registry. I have always wanted to get around this but never figured it out. I've uninstalled the software then reinstalled it many times. What traces are left behind telling the newly installed version that I have had it before? I've even tried changing my system clock and calandar.
there is a reason that time trial demo's exist. it is so that the software manufacturer, many times a stand alone programmer, can show what he has to offer. Now what happens if everyone in the world starts using "cracked" software and nobody pays for it? BOOM! no more new games, no more new software no more nothing.
That being said, yes, it does write a few lines in your system registry...where else would it be? :-)
There is an easy way to trick time trial demo's, If you like the game then go and buy the bloody thing, how would you like to pour your heart and soul into something, and have someone steal it off you? No?, didnt think so, you may think its fun to do, but if everyone does it, as the previous poster says, bang no new stuff, so take your wallet out, let the moths fly out of it, and buy the thing, its called commerce, its how the world works
I've never used it but
http://astalavista.box.sk I've heard it has a search that when you type in the prog and version number it will show you where you can find the cracks for it over all popular crack sites including, but not limited to, the above mentioned site. You can also download many crackable programs, so I'm told, from www.tucows.com. I, of course, buy ALL my software.
Waaaaa Waaaaaa Waaaaaaa How would you like it if you poured your heart and soul Blah Blah Blah.. Do you overclock? Why not just BUY the faster processor instead of paying less and squeezing more ie. 850 - 1100mhz ??? Hack the world, Pay for Nothing ! Cheat on your taxes ! Overclock everything YEAH Anarchy Rules !!! You big WHINER !!!
