USB drive and XP

Added a RAID array to P4 2.0Ghz MSI mobo and loaded XP. Took old W2K drive, stuck it in USB enclosure and plugged it in. Disk Management recognizes the drive but cannot access the files on it from My Computer. I'm new to XP. Do I have to do something to be able to get to my files on the USB drive?

hmmm strange.
Usually there should be no problems as win2k and winXP use the same disk format, be it fat32 or NTFS.
Assigned a drive letter i assume?
